Post to TikTok and YouTube

Post Twitch clips to TikTok and YouTube in one click

The last step of posting a clip is the dullest one: move the file to your phone, open the app, find the video, type the caption again. Multiply that by every clip from a stream.

Boltis runs on Windows 10 and 11, and exports are free with no watermark. Premium sends the finished clip to TikTok or YouTube from wherever you are in the app, and can do it by itself once a clip has rendered.

Pick a time and YouTube publishes the video then, even if your PC is off.

One click

Where can you post from?

  • Any exported clip in your library, from its Post button
  • The player, right after you watch the export
  • The export queue, including clips still rendering: they post when they are ready
  • The stream digest: tick TikTok or YouTube, then Queue & render
  • The post window, for a title, description, tags, visibility or a schedule

The workflow

How do you post your stream's clips?

  1. 1Connect TikTok and YouTube once, in Settings, through their own sign in pages.
  2. 2Clip during the stream with your hotkey or the !clip command.
  3. 3After the stream, the stream digest shows each clip finished. Tick where it should go and press Queue & render.
  4. 4Boltis renders the clips in the background and sends each one as it finishes. TikTok clips wait in your Inbox to be captioned and posted.

YouTube

Can you schedule posts?

Yes, on YouTube. Choose Schedule in the post window and pick a time. The video uploads now as private and YouTube makes it public at that time, so your PC does not need to be on.

Worth knowing

Honest limits

  • Boltis runs on Windows 10 and 11. There is no Mac or Linux build.
  • Posting to TikTok and YouTube is a Premium feature. Exporting the video file is free, and you can always upload that file yourself.
  • On TikTok, Boltis sends the clip to your TikTok Inbox. You add the caption and post it from the TikTok app.
  • Scheduling is for YouTube. On TikTok, the clip waits in your Inbox until you post it.
  • Nothing uploads while you are live. Posts wait until your stream ends, so they never share your stream's connection.
  • Instagram Reels is not supported.
  • You connect each account through TikTok's and Google's own sign in pages. Boltis never sees your password, and you can disconnect at any time.

FAQ

Questions

Can you post Twitch clips to TikTok automatically?

Almost. With Premium, tick TikTok on a clip in the stream digest and Boltis renders it and sends it to your TikTok Inbox when it is done. You then add the caption and post it from the TikTok app, which takes a few seconds on your phone.

Can Boltis upload clips to YouTube Shorts?

Yes, with Premium. Boltis uploads the vertical clip to your channel as Private, Unlisted or Public, with a title, description and tags. Set the description and tags once in Settings and every one-click upload uses them.

Can I schedule posts?

On YouTube, yes. Pick a time and YouTube publishes the video then, whether or not your PC is on. On TikTok, the clip waits in your Inbox and you post it when you are ready.

Will it upload while I am streaming?

No. Like rendering, uploads wait until you go offline, so your stream keeps all of its upload bandwidth. Anything you set to post during a stream goes out when the stream ends.

Is posting to TikTok and YouTube free?

No. It is part of Premium, at £6.99 per month or £69.90 per year. Exporting the vertical video is free with no watermark, so on Free you can upload the file yourself.

Does Boltis get my TikTok or Google password?

No. You sign in on TikTok's or Google's own page, in your browser, and they give Boltis permission to upload. You can disconnect either account from Boltis at any time.

Clip it live, post it from your desk

Capture the moment on stream, let Boltis format and render it, and send it to TikTok or YouTube without touching your phone until it is time to post.
